In 2022, gabriel was hand-picked to represent the UK in ‘The Lowden Guitars Competition’ held in Dubai. Gabriel and his band performed on the Millennium ampHitheatre stage at The Expo and won the competition. Through this, Gabriel managed to win 2 Lowden guitars and had the opportunity to meet Prince William.

Gabriel has performed at Glastonbury Festival on multiple occasions. In 2023, the BBC came to film/interview gabriel for BBC 1 and Points West.

In 2019, Gabriel was selected to attend the British Heart Foundation Awards ceremony held at The Globe, London, along with Vernon Kay, Luke Pritchard (The Kooks), Richard Jones, Sarah Ferguson (the Duchess of York), Dr Zoe Williams and more.

In 2023, Gabriel attended ‘Tokfest’ in Birmingham to talk on panels about being a musician and how today’s industry is driven by social media.

GABRIEL SAW THE PANDEMIC AS A PERFECT OPPORTUNITY TO PUSH HIS MUSIC CAREER ON SOCIAL MEDIA. He created a TikTok account and began posting videos of himself performing original music and promoting his released singles. GABRIEL TEMPLAR NOW HAS OVER 1.9 MILLION FOLLOWERS ON TIKTOK AND OVER 180K FOLLOWERS ON INSTAGRAM.

GABRIEL HAS BEEN RECOGNISED ON SOCIAL MEDIA BY SEVERAL CELEBRITIES, SUCH AS DIZZEE RASCAL, GAYLE, TOM ODEL, DAVID WALLIAMS, THE HOOSIERS, MOTHER MOTHER, LUCY SPRAGGAN AND MORE.

FUN FACT: DIZZEE RASCAL’S MOST VIRAL TIKTOK VIDEO IS OF HIM DUETTING & REACTING TO GABRIEL TEMPLAR PERFORMING THE HIT SINGLE “BASELINE JUNKIE” WITH A VOCAL LOOP PEDAL.

In 2021, Gabriel graduated from BIMM Bristol with a BA (Hons) in Songwriting and was awarded “Best Songwriter of the year”.

Since leaving BIMM, gabriel was invited to attend open days to talk to new students about my experience as a young artist. In addition to this, gabriel has been on masterclass panels at bimm along with jon beavis (drummer from idles) and becky baldwin.
